However, we recognise that with ever-rising premiums, cyber insurance can be unaffordable for some small businesses, which is why we are pleased to be able to offer premiums through our trusted broker and panel of expert insurers.
To qualify for the inclusive £25,000 cover, an organisation must:
- Have an annual turnover of under £20 million
- Successfully certify to Cyber Essentials
- Have the entire organisation in scope of the certification
- Be domiciled in the UK or Crown Dependencies
Yes. You can increase your cover through our insurance journey, which offers flexible uplift and bespoke options. In addition, a simple uplift route is available via Sutcliffe & Co, which allows eligible customers to increase their £25,000 cover.
Once you’ve completed Cyber Essentials, CyberSmart can direct you to a secure online journey where you can:
- Provide a small amount of information about your organisation
- See tailored cover options from a panel of insurers
- View premiums available to CyberSmart customers
- Buy online or speak to an advisor for more complex needs
- The application process has been simplified with reduced question sets to speed things up.
The inclusive £25,000 cover and certain uplift options are linked to Cyber Essentials certification and eligibility criteria. However, bespoke cyber insurance can also be arranged through Sutcliffe & Co for organisations that are not yet certified and certain benefits may be greater for certified businesses.
